Role Requirements
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
Professional Experience
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting.
- Experience in the forestry, construction, or environmental services sectors.
- Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and multi-entity job costing.
Technical Expertise
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or equivalent ERP systems.
- Expert-level Excel skills (complex formulas, modeling, and analysis).
- Solid understanding of accrual accounting and asset valuation.
Integrity & Communication
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Unwavering ethics and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Effective communication skills for explaining financial insights to stakeholders.
