Grind & Haul: Project Overview
Marshall Forestry Solutions has partnered with Jefferson Conservation District on numerous projects throughout Jefferson County, specializing in grind-and-haul operations and hazardous fuels reduction to improve forest health and reduce fire mitigation. Our work includes selective logging, full slash processing, and comprehensive grinding and hauling of woody biomass to ensure complete material removal from each site. Every project concludes with thorough site rehabilitation, leaving behind a cleaner, more resilient landscape better protected against wildfire.
Project Outcomes
The completion of this project has significantly transformed the landscape, delivering lasting environmental benefits. Through a systematic approach to land management, we’ve created cleaner sites, substantially reduced wildfire fuel loads, and improved year-round property access. The result is a healthier, more resilient forest.
