Mining Claims Timber Sale
The timber sale was a multi-unit federal and private timber harvest project located north of Steamboat Springs in partnership with the CSFS, the USFS, and private landowners. Spanning approximately 120+ acres, the project involved the removal of lodgepole pine and other conifer species .

The completion of this timber sale improved stand conditions across approximately 120+ acres in the North Routt area. The project enhanced forest resilience while protecting soil, water, and infrastructure.
